Mike Fagan

Finance Director & Company Secretary

Mike is a chartered management accountant who holds a number of executive and non-executive roles within a number of fast-growing businesses in the technology and professional services sectors.

He has been Director of Finance at Rialto since 2006, where he is responsible for financial management and administration.

Following a successful exit from his telecommunications business in 1998, Mike has been advising businesses on fund-raising, business planning, strategic development and financial management with a particular focus on building towards a high value exit route. He has taken the lead role in acquisitions, disposals, and company reconstructions as well as the management of complex customer and supply-side contracts.

John O’Sullivan

Non Executive Chairman

John is a successful entrepreneur with a leadership background in staffing and recruitment. He has worked as a director for several of the top global staffing companies and founded Best International Group which grew to £130million turnover in 18 months.

As a Director for Rialto, he contributes to the overall corporate strategy and continues his reputation for creating shareholder value in fast growing environments.

Carol Bode

Carol is an experienced Board Director and Organisation Development (OD) Specialist with a career spanning over 30 years in retail, customer services, financial services, and health and education sectors. She now utilises this experience and operates as a Portfolio Director combining OD consultancy services with “hands on” Non-Executive Director experience.


Christina Campbell

Following a successful career of over 18 years in executive search, Christina made the decision to change her career focus to executive career transition. 

Christina’s career in executive search included working at Spencer Stuart where she recruited globally at Board and SVP level for blue chip clients across Industrial, Consumer and Life Sciences businesses. She has experience of working with FTSE 100 and FTSE 250 groups, as well as smaller companies and PE backed groups.  Her functional experience includes general management, operations, supply chain, procurement, finance and HR. 

For the last 8 years Christina has capitalised on the vast networks of headhunters in large and small firms as well as the relationships she has built across industry to support select executives to understand and reposition their personal brand thus enabling them to seek out greater and/or more diverse challenges in their career.


Alistair Denton

Alistair has predominantly worked in the private sector throughout his career including 13 years in a Worldwide IT Product and Services organisation, and 15 years for a SaaS Technology Start up where he launched, grew and sold the business to a International Leader in Pre Paid Solutions.

He has led Corporate, Private Equity backed and start up businesses with the UK, Europe and the US. He has also held senior positions in HR, Marketing, Sales and Business Development during his career.

Alistair has an MBA from Brunel University, and is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development.


Jan Floyd-Douglass FInstLM

Jan’s career over the past 25 years has comprised senior corporate roles including Head of Zurich Corporate Pensions, Global Sales Director and Executive Committee member, Barclays Private Bank and Resident Vice President, Consumer Lending, Citibank. Her role accountabilities have included global strategic and propositional development, leading and embedding significant change programmes and the planning, delivery and evaluation of high growth and turnaround strategies.

Jan is a qualified Level 7 Executive Coach and Leadership Mentor (from the Institute of Leadership and Management, Europe’s leading awarding body), and a Fellow of ILM. She has been recognised as one of100 Best Global Coaching Leaders Awardby the World HRD Congress.


Tony Dutton

Having held country and regional CEO positions in Consumer Healthcare, Veterinary Pharmaceuticals, and Medical Nutrition businesses, Tony Dutton is now an experienced executive coach and private equity investment advisor.  He has specific expertise in country general management, as well as in international brand marketing and has lived and worked in Switzerland, Brazil, Australia and the UK.

John Grisby

John has extensive experience working in and with entrepreneurial driven enterprise at varying stages of growth inducing; helping UK entrepreneur of the year (1999) Mark Dixon’s Regus Plc (UK) expand in Europe/South America (mid-stage enterprise to IPO), a traditional Family owned (ESP) Spanish publishing house expand internationally (UK/US), Co-Founders of Fifty Lessons (UK), a digital education content producer build start-up structure to eventual international expansion and M&A (US).

John is a Professor of Management Practice at University of Bedfordshire Business School. He develops, designs and delivers on the part-time Executive MBA programme (UK/Europe/Middle East), presents guest lectures and consults for the Innovation & Enterprise unit.

Neil McCarthy

With Board level exposure to multiple blue chip companies in several geographies (America, Asia Pacific and EMEA), Neil has become uniquely positioned to support a broad range of organisations in the development of their business strategies and subsequent operational execution.  Having started his early career at a leading UK retailer fulfilling a number of roles spanning retail operations through to centralised procurement and category management, he then moved and lived in several different countries whilst pursuing a new career with a leading International Sales and Marketing consultancy that specialised in Private Brand development offering retailers and manufacturers bespoke services and solutions geared to fulfil their corporate strategic requirements.


Dr John Mervyn-Smith

Chris Roebuck

Chris Roebuck is a Senior Director at Rialto, Visiting Professor of Transformational Leadership at Cass Business School and advisor to a select group of forward thinking organisations. He was formerly Global Head of Leadership at UBS, where his work is now part of a Harvard Business School Case Study. Chris has worked with organisations as diverse as HSBC, RBS, the UK National Health Service, international law firms, and London Underground to the Myanmar Red Cross and Chinese Space Programme. Ian Stobie

Ian leads the Rialto Predictive Analytics business practice which assists clients to model and understand their Human Capital and Customer data better and how it can be applied to create efficiency, profitability and change.  He has pioneered a number of new technologies in the people management field during his 25 year career, which includes the creation and delivery of Oracle’s global Payroll and HR systems in over 40 countries.  He has set up and helped launch various  cloud-based HR applications and service businesses, and advises organisations on how to use technology to create value through differentiated propositional and delivery offerings.


Simon Walker

Simon is an expert in future of work and leadership.
His particular interest is the impact of technology and social media on the world of work and business, and in how this affects behaviours, effective leadership and organisational design. 

He also draws from other first-hand leadership experience both is extreme sport and business. He has led teams on arctic expeditions and round the world yacht races, most notably as skipper of Toshiba in the BT Global Challenge round the world race where he finished second, the youngest skipper in the fleet.


Ray Warren

Ray has over 20 years of international business experience working with large multinational organisations. He was CFO of Global IT Solutions at Electrolux and held several international Finance Director posts with Diageo Plc. His work as a senior finance executive in these organisations has allowed him to build a broad commercial knowledge and a wide ranging network.

Ray’s coaching experience over the last 10 years covers a broad range of clients from FTSE companies through privately owned organisations to NGO’s, in the UK, Europe, India, North Africa, Central Africa and the Middle East.. This includes organisations such as Marks and Spencer, HSBC, Virgin and NGOs such as the Aga Khan Foundation and Women’s World Bank Network.


Janet Waters

Janet is an experienced executive coach, learning consultant and facilitator of leadership, change, management development and action learning, having qualified in coaching from Henley Business School.   She also has extensive background experience in management, leadership and organisational development both in the UK and Internationally, having worked in a commercial environment managing large contracts in the UK and internationally as well as holding senior leader and executive board member positions within government.

He has worked as an executive to Larry H. Miller (owner of 100+ businesses, including the Utah Jazz NBA team), Cap Gemini Consulting and, Franklin Covey.

In 2014 he chaired and inaugurated the World Strategy Week 2014 that brought together top strategy thought leaders and executives from around the world.  He is also on the Board of Directors for the Association of Strategic Planning.
